The Willis Family

Rachel and Allen Willis, married for ten years, reside in North Richland Hills. Both enjoy sailing, travel to the Caribbean, visiting National Parks and historical air museums, and share a passion for cars. Rachel’s is a green SRT8 Challenger and Allen is restoring a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass.
After growing up in Keller, Rachel earned her MBA from Texas Wesleyan University. She is the VP of Finance for Fort Worth-based ID Technology - Pro Mach. Rachel leads the company’s integration team and enjoys process improvement in their nine manufacturing plants.
Allen, a Grand Prairie native, spent a few years in Fredericksburg before graduating from TSTC in Waco. He has designed custom well service equipment for many years in addition to several patented items for the Euless-based steel division of Commscope. Recently he started mechanical design firm, ADW Design.
Parents, Clyde and Sandra Carter, are retired from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and Birdville ISD. After completing restoration of their 1970 Mach 1 Mustang, they enjoy local car shows and traveling with friends and family. Brother, Brandon, and his wife, Melissa, are writers in NYC with three published children’s novels, and also owns a computer consulting firm.

The Whitten Family

Mitch Whitten and Kristin Sullivan moved to Fort Worth after graduating from SMU and landing their first jobs at the Star-Telegram.
He grew up near Houston, she in Arlington. After college, they fell in love with Fort Worth.
Their wedding and reception were held in the Near Southside, back when the neighborhood’s renaissance was just getting started.
They are pictured at Stir Crazy Baked Goods, one of their favorite spots on Magnolia Avenue. They live nearby and are passionate about the neighborhoods, schools, local businesses, their church and their many friends in the area.
Mitch is vice president of marketing for the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau. Kristin is associate vice president for communications at The University of Texas at Arlington.
In addition to volunteering around their neighborhood, Mitch serves on the board of the Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival and Kristin is a board member of The Cliburn.
They are often found at ballparks and soccer fields with sons John and Scott, and love spending time exploring many different areas of Fort Worth for live music, restaurants and the arts.

The Webb Family

Russell and Kristi Webb live a full life with their two high school children Matthew and Macie in Flower Mound, Texas.
Russell is a 1991 graduate of Texas Tech with a BBA in Marketing and is a native of Abilene, TX, he has been in the commercial real estate industry that started in 2001. In 2011, he formed Silver Oak Commercial Realty, LLC in Southlake, Texas with three other partners. His firm services the greater Tarrant, Denton, and Dallas counties. They are a full line commercial real estate firm specializing in investments sales, land sales, third party leasing, buyer/tenant representation, and list several office and industrial projects in the Tarrant county submarket. Russ is a Charter member of the Cross Timbers Rotary in Flower Mound, past Executive Board member of the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce, Certified Commercial Investor Member (CCIMdesignation) for the local North Texas CCIM organization, Rawls College of Business Committee Member for Texas Tech - Ft Worth Scholarship Event, Rawls College of Business Advisory Council member - Texas Tech, Xceligent Board Member for Tarrant County, Red Raider Club member, and Texas Tech Ex Students Association member. Webb also owns real estate in his hometown of Abilene, Texas and helps run a family ranch in Throckmorton, Texas called 2 Diamond W LP.
Kristi is a native of Dallas and graduated from Stephen F Austin with a degree in Child Development and is a full time homemaker who helped start the YMSL boys and girls service club for middle school and high school students in the Flower Mound area. She is a past committee member for Liberty Elementary and McKamy Middle School in Flower Mound.
The Webb’s are members of Rockpointe Church in Flower Mound, enjoy Texas Tech football games, and travelling.
Matthew will be a Senior at Flower Mound High this year where he will serve as Senior Class President. Matthew plans to pursue major in Civil Engineering at the college of his choice when he graduates in 2017. Macie will be a Freshman and is a member of the Rosettes Drill team at Flower Mound High and also a member of the National Charity League - Cottonwood Chapter.

The Vinson Family

Ryan Vinson and Michelle Craven Vinson live in Fort Worth with their two-year-old daughter, Hayley, and five-month old daughter, Ella.
Ryan is originally from Midland, Texas and is a Texas Tech graduate. He earned a master’s degree in Energy Policy and Law Studies from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He is the President and Chief Operating Officer of 5M’s Minerals Management, which provides a unique software solution called MineralWare to mineral and royalty interest owners.
Michelle is a Fort Worth native who graduated from Rice University. She earned a medical doctorate from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed her residency in anesthesiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. After finishing a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, Dr. Craven returned to her hometown to work at Cook Children’s Hospital where she has been practicing as a pediatric anesthesiologist since 2012.
Ryan and Michelle are members of the Fort Worth Club, where Ryan serves on the membership committee. The Vinson family enjoys traveling and living an active lifestyle.

The Trevino Family

Jennifer and Chris Trevino, married nearly 15 years, call Fort Worth home. Chris is a Fort Worth native and Jennifer planted roots here after living in various parts of Texas.
Chris retired early from the U.S. Postal Service in 2015 to pursue his passion as a certified specialist of spirits through his YouTube channel, LiquorHound. He also consults with restaurants, bars, liquor stores and distilleries and provides classes through private tasting parties.
Jennifer is Chief of Staff to the President at UNT Health Science Center where she serves as an advisor and liaison to the President and his direct reports. She often works on special projects and with team members to address issues as they arise. She graduated from Texas Tech University and earned her MBA from TCU. Jennifer stays active in the community by serving as Chair of the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas, Fort Worth Chapter and is a member of the TCU MBA Advisory Board, Fort Worth’s City Plan Commission and Kimbell Art Museum’s Hispanic Host Committee.
Chris and Jennifer also enjoy spending time with their four dogs, family and friends, traveling and cheering on the Dallas Mavericks.

The Todora Family

The Todora Family has been friends with Howard Langham for several years. Both enjoy a love of gardening and over the years, Howard has tried to teach Helen how to grow more than weeds! Howard fought in WWII and returned home to work with General Dynamics before retirement in 1985. He was married to his wife, Letha, for 60 years. Today, he enjoys serving others and is surrounded by friends and family.
Michael and Helen fell in love at UT in Austin, and have been together for 25 years. Michael graduated with the highest honors and went on to Medical School and Residency training at Washington University in St Louis. Michael is now a physician with Radiology Associates of North Texas. They are privileged to be raising four beautiful children together, all of whom attend Fort Worth Country Day School. They are grateful for the life God has given to them and the friendship they enjoy with Howard.

The Kilpatrick - Terrell Family

Kim Kilpatrick-Terrell and Mike Terrell are pictured with their daughter Aro Marie Terrell. The Terrell’s are native Texans born and raised in Fort Worth where Kim and Mike met at Paschal High School and married 3 years after obtaining their Bachelor’s degrees from TWC and TCU respectively. Aro is an All Saints Episcopal School alumnus and is graduating with honors from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette in December 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology with follow on plans to obtain her Masters.
Kim is the 3rd generation owner of Kilpatrick Insurance, a family owned independent full lines insurance agency established in 1944. Mike is a retired Contract Manager of 27 years at Lockheed Martin.
Kim has served on committees for Meals on Wheels, is a member of the Junior League of Fort Worth, Woman’s Club, a member of the Jewel Charity Ball.
Mike collects classic American cars and tends to the family ranch in Hico Texas, as well as other investment properties in Texas and Tennessee.
Aro is a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority in ULL, an avid National Sporting Clay Association competitor and a former member of the Southwest Region Ladies Sporting Clay Team.
The family enjoys travelling and visiting new exotic destinations worldwide to experience diverse cultures.

The Tallmon Family

Malcolm and Carol Ann Tallmon were both born and raised in Fort Worth and attended Poly High School, although ten years apart.
Carol Ann has been breeding and raising llamas for over thirty years. She has been superintendent of local, regional and national shows including the llama division at the Fort Worth Stock for twenty years and organized the National Sale for fifteen years. She has one of the top show strings in the U.S. and has shown across the country.
Malcolm was President of Fortune Industries, one of the leading aerospace fastener distributors, from 1964 until 1999 when he sold the company. He and partner, Clarence Dowdy, owned Glen Garden Golf and Country Club until the sale in 2014 to TX Distillery. Malcolm served as State President of the Texas JC’s from 1970 to 1971.
Carol Ann and Malcolm reside on their ranch in Parker County.

The Strausser Family

Kelly and Melissa celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary this past August. Both graduates of UTA, Melissa grew up in Mansfield and attended Mansfield High School, while Kelly was raised in Arlington and went to Martin.
In 2002, Kelly accepted a sales position at D&M Leasing and began working for two individuals that became mentors, Mike Hernandez and Joe Graber, C.E.O./ owner and President of the D&M Leasing Companies, respectively. Kelly was promoted to general manager of the Mid-Cities location in 2008. Under Strausser’s leadership, the office grew every year, now has 10,000 active clients and most recently won DealerRater’s “Dealer of the Year” award for customer satisfaction.
In 2014, Kelly fulfilled a dream by opening D&M Leasing Fort Worth as the managing partner. In two years the office has doubled in size. Half of the Fort Worth location’s business is already derived from repeat and referrals. D&M Fort Worth will lease and sell over 3700 new and used vehicles in 2016 and expect a 30% increase next year.
The Straussers and the Fort Worth office have taken an active role in the community in a short period of time. The office belongs to the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and supports the Henry House Foundation, the Ronald McDonald House, the Boys & Girls Club and the Cooks Children’s Pickin’ for Preemies charities among others.

The Stocker Family

Dub and Valerie Stocker are civically active and have a passion for Christian education. Val was a professional photographer before marrying Dub in 2007 and also served on the 4H Board and was a 4H leader for 9 years. Dub served on the Southwest Christian School Board of Trustees from the late 1980’s through 2012 when he became a Board Member Emeritus and continues active involvement with its current Board and staff. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of ACH Child and Family Services, a 101 year old Fort Worth and Tarrant County institution formerly known as All Church Home, which is dedicated to protecting children and preserving families. Val serves on the ACH Fund Development Committee and is a member of the ACH Women’s Auxiliary. Dub also sits on the Bridge2Rwanda (“B2R”) Board. He and Val sponsor two young Rwandan scholars graduating from Abilene Christian University and returning to Rwanda this year. Sharing a passion to help this amazingly resilient country (just 22 years removed from the horrific 1994 genocide) prepare some of its brightest young scholars to compete for western universities scholarships. They assist B2R in identifying US colleges and recruiting family sponsors and work with B2R to repatriate these students upon graduation to Rwanda as young Christian business leaders. B2R has 135 Rwandan Scholars in 69 universities who have earned more than $30 million in scholarships. Dub and Val have 5 children between them and three grandchildren and their Great Pyrenees, Gus.

The Spiker Family

Scott and Nancy Spiker moved to Fort Worth in 2007 when Scott was hired as CEO of First Command Financial Services. The two originally met at Great Lakes Naval Base while both served in the Navy. Until coming to Cowtown they were lifelong midwesterners: Nancy, from Wisconsin, earned her DDS at Marquette University and Scott, from Chicago, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and later got his MBA from the University of Chicago. They share common passions for cooking, wine, hiking, fly-fishing, travel and biking. They disagree about the Packers.
Nancy recently joined Presbyterian Night Shelter’s board of directors. Scott has served on the United Way of Tarrant County’s board for the past eight years, now wrapping up a two year stint as Chairman.
The Spiker’s have two grown daughters. Margaret recently earned her Masters of Social Services from the University of Chicago and works for Ipsos, a market research company in Chicago. Madeline has an economics degree from Scripps College and works for the First Command Educational Foundation.

The Robertson Family

Joey and Jenny Robertson, pictured with their daughter Elle and son Rhett, were born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Joey is the owner of Right Way Facility Services, a national commercial construction company, specializing in restaurant construction. He began his own company after growing up working side by side with his father.
Jenny is a first grade teacher, who loves working with children and their families. She is also involved in Junior League and other service organizations in Fort Worth.
Growing up in Berkeley, Joey and Jenny both attended Lily B. Clayton Elementary as children. Going their separate ways for high school and college Joey graduated from University of Texas at Arlington, and Jenny from Baylor University. After graduating and starting his business, Joey proposed to Jenny at Lily B., where they first met.
The family enjoys being a part of Christ Chapel Bible Church. A hard working, family man, Joey dedicates himself to his family and helping the city of Fort Worth grow.

The Raffaele Family

Featured here are Nick and Lacy Raffaele with their two sons, Drew and Jake. Many local golf enthusiasts know of Nick’s work with golf’s elite players on global PGA Tours and corporate sponsors in golf at his past roles with Callaway Golf, Odyssey Golf, Top-Flite and Ben Hogan brands.
Lacy, a graduate of Emporia State University in Emporia, KS, is a Chi Omega Alumna, PEO Member. She actively participates in the local chapters. Splitting time between San Diego and Fort Worth, the two of them love golf (surprise!), traveling, dining and doing things with their sons and friends.
Drew is a Mass Communications graduate from Texas Tech University and works for Oil and Gas Information Systems here in Fort Worth. Drew is active in VisionFW and SteerFW.
Jacob will graduate from NW Missouri State University this May after a degree required internship is completed at TCU this spring. This following a brief stint as a LHP in the Texas Rangers baseball organization after pro seasons in Canada and Australia.

The Pritchett Family

John and Alice Pritchett moved to Fort Worth after getting married in August of 2001. They are both graduates of the University of Texas at Austin. John graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies. Alice graduated with a BA from the Plan II Honors Program, and continued her education to earn an MBA from McCombs School of Business at UT Austin.
John is the Founder and CEO of newly formed Wild Acre Brewing Company located in the near Southside in the former Ranch Style Beans facility between East Lancaster and East Vickery. Wild Acre is scheduled to begin brewing and selling craft beers throughout the Metroplex beginning this Spring.
Alice is the Associate Director of Admissions at Trinity Valley School. In addition, she has served on the Board of the Junior League of Fort Worth as the VP of Education, and currently, as Nominating Chair.
Their two boys, John and Philip, attend Trinity Valley School, and participate in youth sports programs including Westside Little League, YMCA Basketball and golf.

The Pebley Family

Faith, family, and Frogs combined with grit, grace and gratitude…it’s a simple formula for the Pebley’s. The Pebley Family knows all too well that they are a part of a family that extends beyond just the four of them. It is also not limited to the four walls of their home. Their family often includes teammates and assistant coaches, and sometimes their home is the basketball court at Schollmaier Arena or the football field at All Saints. They are surrounded by layers of support and strive each day to be that layer of support others.
Keith and Raegan, married for 15 years, moved their family here to Fort Worth in April, 2014 when Raegan accepted the position of head women’s basketball coach at TCU. Keith, a former collegiate football coach, is a teacher at All Saints Episcopal School where he also serves as the 7th and 8th grade head football coach. Their children Joe (13) and Harper (9) attend All Saints and love being a part of the All Saints community. Keith and Raegan are passionate about using their platforms in education and coaching to help young adults discover and develop their best selves.

The Parker Family

Michael and Shanna Parker, pictured with their 4 children, have been married for 23 years and reside in Weatherford, Texas. Their oldest, Christopher, is graduating from TCU in May with a degree in International Economics. Casey is 18, loves to hunt and is graduating from Brock High School in June and plans to attend college in Texas. Sienna is 16, also graduating from Brock High School in June and she plays Varsity Volleyball and also loves to hunt. She will also be attending college in Texas. Sophia attends Brock Junior High School. She is 11 and active with Tarrant County 4H showing rabbits in the State Fair and Fort Worth Stock Show and she also plays volleyball. Shanna worked with Michael as Administrator starting their law firm and retired in February. She now consults on billing and accounting practices and is running for Brock ISD School Board in the elections in November. Michael started the Healthcare and Insurance litigation law firm Parker Straus, LLP in 2001, expanded to 6 offices in California and Texas, and moved the firm headquarters to Fort Worth in 2013. They are members of New River Church and support organizations such as Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth, Black Dog Charity, Make a Wish North Texas, Dallas Safari Club and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. In their spare time, they love to attend TCU football games, attend Dallas Stars games, and travel.

The Nachlinger Family

Daniel and Lisa Nachlinger are pictured with their twin nine-year old daughters, Lauren and Jordan.
Dan has been in the new home construction and real estate investment/development industries for many years. His previous experience in real estate sales, investment and building coupled with Lisa’s previous eight years in a commercial real estate office, laid the groundwork for establishing their successful businesses. Today, Dan is president of Noc One, Inc. dba Parkway Homes which serves families in North Texas.
Fort Worth is considered by many as “the world’s biggest small town.” Dan and Lisa say that it’s this close knit feeling of community surrounded by world class opportunity that appeal to their family and keep them rooted in Fort Worth.
The Nachlinger’s are active members of First United Methodist Church Fort Worth. Jordan and Lauren attend school at St. Paul Lutheran School and enjoy tennis, golf, reading and violin. As a whole, the family enjoys spending free time at their home in Southern California along with cooking, boating, and traveling.

The Mitchell Family

William and Lois Ann Mitchell have been married since December, 1999. Billy is a native Texan, born in Fort Worth to Dr. Jerry Mitchell and Ruth Mitchell. He was raised in Aledo where he graduated High School and then attended Weatherford College. Billy enjoys running their ranch outside Clifton and being active.
Lois Ann was raised in Montevideo, Uruguay where her parents served as missionaries. She graduated High School there and attended Union University in Jackson, TN. She is currently an Elementary ESL teacher in Crawford, TX.
Their daughter Mikayla is a ninth grade honor student at a College Preparatory School in Waco. She wants to study Psychology.
The Mitchells enjoy traveling and return to North Texas often to support the Fort Worth community.

The McGlothlin Family

Brett and Jody McGlothlin, shown with their daughters Adalynn and Kenley, are not natives of the North Texas area, however they certainly call it home now. They reside in Perrin, TX and established strong roots through two family owned businesses they founded.
Brett is a Cutting Horse Trainer who also shows cutting horses for National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Competitions all over the country including the NCHA Futurity which is running from November 17th to December 10th at the Will Rogers Coliseum here in Fort Worth.
Jody is a Certified School Teacher that graduated from Tarleton State University with a B.Ed. In 2008 she founded Grace Christian Academy of Perrin, TX, found just West of Weatherford. Grace Christian Academy started as a small homeschool program to fit the lives of local cutting horse participants and their families. After proving the program successful for nearly seven years she decided to expand and grew the program into a fully accredited private school for preschool to 12th grade with many programs to fit the needs of each individual family. GCA provides a small town environment while providing academic excellence that ensures student success for all learners!
Brett and Jody are always busy and on the go, but love spending time with their girls and traveling as a family.

The McCrury Family

Phil McCrury, the 2016 Professionalism Award recipient, grew up in Odessa, Texas. He says, “I must lack ambition, because I never wanted to be anything other than a lawyer.” He has B.A and J.D degrees from the University of Texas and an LL.M in tax law from SMU.
His practice involves tax and business matters including acquisitions, mergers, wealth transfer strategies, asset protection and estate planning. He served on the Executive Committee of his firm, Shannon Gracey, over 18 years and was elected Managing Partner on multiple occasions. His partners say, “...when Phil comes up in conversations, we usually hear him referred to as a ‘lawyer’s lawyer.’”
Phil recently received the first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award from North Texas Community Foundation for his 20-year leadership role on its board.
Phil and Ann, married 30 years, are active in Mira Vista Country Club where Ann golfs and they have many friends. They also enjoy overseeing the ranch in Oklahoma where Ann grew up, and visiting the nation’s National Wildlife Refuges.

The Lecce Family

Andy and Cheryl Lecce, pictured with their son Drew, have been married for twelve years and reside in Keller. Andy grew up in Pittsburgh, PA but moved to Texas in 2000 while Cheryl is a native Texan. Drew enjoys school and loves to play hockey.
In 2003, they launched ADL High Voltage Inc. an energy consulting firm that offers advisory services on cost saving solutions to commercial and industrial clients in competitive markets throughout the United States.
They are members of Gateway Church and involved in their community by volunteering at Drew’s school while supporting various organizations such as Safe Haven of Tarrant County, Acts Christian Academy in Oakland, CA. and for the past two years offered scholarships for higher education to participants in the Texas Golden Gloves.
In their spare time, the Lecces enjoy traveling back to Pittsburgh, hosting family dinners and spending time at the hockey rink.

The Kemp Family

Larry Kemp and wife, Reggi Sturns-Kemp, are continuing their family legacies as Entrepreneurs. Following in the footsteps of their parents, the late Jesse Kemp Jr., his wife, Nannie Wiley Kemp and Mr. and Mrs. Riley L. Sturns. Larry and Reggi own and operate Kemp & Sons General Services, Inc., a 47 year old family business. Larry is a graduate of The University of Texas of Arlington. Reggi earned degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Clark Atlanta University.
Larry and Reggi have served on various Boards and Committees that include University of Texas [UTA] College of Business Advisory Board, UTA Athletics, American Cancer Society, FW Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce, Women Steering Business and The United Way of Tarrant County. Recently, they established Kemp Leadership Academy, whose mission is to introduce and expose so called at risk and underprivileged youth to Business Leaders and Entrepreneurship.

The Johnson Family

Brent and Rosanne Johnson, originally from San Antonio, moved to the DFW area while expanding his growing restaurant partnerships. He now currently owns and operates Rio Mambo Chef Mex, which has several locations in the DFW area. They are well known and successful because of their commitment to quality fresh ingredients. He is happily married for 27 years and counting to Rosanne, who retired in 2008 from Verizon after a very successful career. Their son, John Paul, is a partner in a financial firm. Megan, their first daughter, works for the San Antonio Spurs. Their youngest daughter, Mallori, is working with her dad at Rio Mambo handling marketing and outside sales.
Brent’s greatest love is his family, which to him include his restaurant staff, and his guests. He loves working surrounded by family every day. They are active members of Hackberry Creek CC and Irving Bible Church. They enjoy contributing as a family and a business to Happy Hills Farms, The Guzman 23 Foundation, their local church, and Rio Rewards at the local schools. His life is guided by the principal that relationships are the only worthy and lasting capital.

The Hubbard Family

Todd, originally from Brownwood, TX, joined the Robert Lynn Company in 2003, working the Fort Worth industrial real estate market after earning his MBA from Texas Tech University. Over the last 13 years, Todd has concentrated his time in assisting Fort Worth based companies manage their real estate needs both locally and across the country. In 2012, Todd was named President of the NAI Robert Lynn Fort Worth office, hiring and leading a team of ten brokers providing services in all sectors of commercial real estate and contributes to the overall company growth as a Principal of the organization.
Todd and his team are committed to serving the Fort Worth community through organizations such as the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, Black Dog Charity and the Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council.
Anita, originally from Dallas and an SMU alum, serves as an executive for a software development company and is active in raising funds for organizations supporting women and children.
Todd and Anita, along with their children Isla and Rider, have made Southlake home for over nine years.

Don and Freddie Hodges grew up in Canadian Texas a small ranch and farming community in the panhandle. They moved their family to Dallas in 1968. The Hodges Family owns and operates Hodges Capital Management. Each of the three kids work in the business. The family is a business family with a core belief that they are called to help every body with their investment needs regardless of asset size. Following their desire to live closer to children and grandchildren, Steve and Tricia Heflin closed the doors of their San Antonio business of 28 years, Steve Heflin Architect/Builder, and moved to the Ft. Worth area. They say 35 years of marriage, divine direction, and their combined skills sparked the idea of creating a Wedding Chapel and Event Venue with unique style and beauty.
Searching the Ft Worth countryside for the perfect property, landed them just outside historic Weatherford, on a 21 acre farm complete with restored 115 year old farmhouse. A hint of rolling hills, natural springs, and wooded acreage practically begged to be the place their dream would be built! Dreams became reality, as The Brooks at Weatherford, opened its doors October 2014.
Steve and Tricia are pictured here with Chris, Jenni (daughter), Kaden, Addie, Averi, and Kennedi Graebe, as well as Weston (son), and Beth Heflin. Jenni and family live in Keller, where Chris is Campus Pastor for Life Church. Weston and Beth live in Nashville, TN where Weston owns and operates a production company, Strange Bird Media.

The Hansen Family

Candice and Brian Hansen moved to Fort Worth in 2015 and have enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and meeting new friends and neighbors. After 10 successful years with a public oil & gas operator, Brian joined Vortus Investments, a Fort Worth-based equity firm in 2014 with a focus on partnerships and investments in the upstream onshore energy industry. He enjoys track driving and muay thai kickboxing. Candice’s career has progressed through pharmaceutical sales, employee engagement and community outreach. Currently, she enjoys focusing her time and attention on their young son, Grey, interior design and yoga. Grey is a student at Montessori School on Camp Bowie and enjoys swimming, running, modeling with playdough and building train tracks. The family feels fortunate to be in Fort Worth and looks forward to a long future together with the community.

The Haber Family

Tricia & Jeff lead a full life between their kids and their businesses.
In January, Tricia Haber started a fifth office for Rhodes Securities, “Haber Wealth Management”. With over 20 years advising clients through financial decisions, she offers financial strategies to clients, with concentrations among executives, physicians, business owners and women.
Jeff Clifton founded Fire Department International in 2005. His company is known for customized fire fighting equipment and training. They have trained fire fighters across the U.S. & overseas from Russia to Dubai for some of the world’s largest oil companies.
Their pride is their five kids. Leanne graduated from TCU in 2009. Her family lives in Glen Rose. Stephanie is a senior at LSU and will graduate in December with a Business Management Degree. Kyle & Shay live in Granbury. He is attending college for a computer science engineering degree.
Carter is a senior at Aledo High School and plans a degree in Robotic Engineering. To round off the bunch is Corbin, a spunky 6th grader that loves fishing.

The Goad Family

Truly Texan, Dan Goad III, pictured with his wife Shelly and son Newt (7), embodies the best of Texas values. A graduate of the University of North Texas at Denton, Dan ranches in Abilene, raising cattle and deer, team ropes wherever a Texas arena has lights, hunts and fishes where the spirits move him, and still manages to own a manufacturing company. Dallas Automotive Restyling sells aftermarket items for cars and trucks that are made in here in Texas and sold from locations in Arlington and San Antonio. “Buy and support American business” is more than a slogan to Dan. It is a core value, one that no doubt will soon be embraced by young Newt. Shelly is a graduate of Fort Worth based Texas Weslayen University. She is the Vice President of Summit Direct Mail, INC. out of Dallas, Texas.

The Forrest Family

Jason and Shelly, pictured with their 6 year old daughter Mary Jane that loves signing and dance, and 7 year old son Saunders that enjoys inventing. They are students at the Fort Worth Academy. Jason and Shelly have been married for fourteen years and reside here in Fort Worth. Jason graduated from TCU with a degree in psychology, and a MBA in marketing. Shelly is currently part of TCU’s Alumni Board, private yoga instructor, and captain of the tennis team for Colonial Country Club. Jason is a visionary, author and leadership speaker, member of the Entrepreneurs Organization, Fort Worth Chapter. As the CEO of FPG.com, he is an expert at creating transformational coaching and training programs that unleashes human performance to increase business profits. He is the chairman of the acclaimed National Speakers Association’s Million Dollar Speakers Group. The Forrest family follows a set of 7 virtues that they try to live by in everyday life: perseverance, fortitude, charisma, purpose, gratitude, personal power, and curiosity.

The Flynn Family

Karen and Stuart Flynn moved to Fort Worth in the summer of 2016, arriving from Phoenix, Arizona, where Dr. Flynn was the Dean of the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. He has assumed the position of Founding Dean of the new Texas Christian University and University of North Texas Health Science Center School of Medicine.
Karen is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and received her MBA while working as a cytotechnologist at Yale University. Stuart received his MD from the University of Michigan where he also completed his residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology. He then completed his fellowship training in surgical and molecular pathology and joined the faculty at Stanford University. Prior to moving to Arizona, he was on the faculty at Yale University for 20 years, where he lead significant advances in patient care, research and education. He was named one of America’s top physicians, lead the Yale medical school’s curriculum and residency program, was named as Yale’s top educator, and also lead a successful research lab focused on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, most notably breast cancer, lymphoma and leukemia.
Karen and Stuart are pictured with three of their five children, Conor (16), Dillon (12), and Bailey (9). They have acclimated nicely in their transition from Phoenix and are enjoying getting to know their new city and state, experiencing the beautiful and vibrant downtown Fort Worth and beautiful Tarrant County, as well as all of the wonderful people they have met. All three children play a variety of sports and enjoy playing the violin and piano. Their older sisters, Andrea and Shannon, are both physicians, a pediatric oncologist and ENT surgeon in training, respectfully.

The Decker - Poole Family

Kelly Decker and Olyn Poole are both lawyers practicing in Fort Worth. They have three kids, ages 4, 2 and 10 months. Despite keeping busy with work and family, Kelly serves on the board of directors for the Junior League of Fort Worth, the Multicultural Alliance of Texas and is President of LOLA, a non-profit specializing in providing financial assistance to rescue groups so more dogs and cats can be adopted. Kelly was recently recognized as a Great Woman of Texas by Fort Worth Business, a Top Attorney by Fort Worth Magazine, and a Rising Star by Thomson Reuter.
Olyn, a principal at Poole Snead, PLLC has offices located in the Near Southside of Fort Worth and in the North Fort Worth/Alliance area. He is a business attorney with an emphasis on commercial litigation. Kelly, a partner at Decker Jones, PC in downtown, is also a litigator with a busy practice including family law.
This couple credits each other for being able to get it all done. “Coordination and cooperation are all we need, and we figure it out every day.”

The Crumley Family

The Crumleys are a Fort Worth family with local roots beginning in the late 1800s. Malinda and Dennis lead this pack with two sons, Allen and Winfield. Allen, a broker associate at Williams Trew, Fort Worth’s leading real estate brokerage firm, absolutely loves what he does. His wife, Natalie, relishes adventures every day with their 2-year old daughter. They are having the best time watching her grow. Winfield is a Project Manager at Muckelroy & Falls, a full-service commercial construction company. He is able to do what has come naturally since childhood, construction and making sure things get done the right way. His wife, Grace, is Trinity Valley School’s newest first grade teacher and couldn’t be happier with her job. Their two sons, 4 and 2, keep them on their toes with all things boy.
Malinda and Dennis stay very busy, too. Malinda enjoys her 46+ year career in real estate, now at Williams Trew. She is committed to volunteer work with many of Fort Worth’s important causes and charities. She also sings in the choir at her church, and takes care of animals and grandchildren with a passion. After running his restaurant, The Galleries Barbecue, for 40 years, Dennis took off his apron to retire and enjoy the good life. Shortly thereafter, he took a position at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and takes every chance he can get to spend time with family and tend to their family ranch.

The Burmaster Family

Steve and Nancy met while attending the University of Oklahoma. They moved to Irving briefly, but soon relocated to the Kansas City area where their 4 children were born.
Steve began his career in the pharmaceutical industry while completing a doctorate. Meanwhile, Nancy educated the children at home, and was actively involved in church and international leadership development. Through her efforts in leadership development, Nancy helped found an NGO and organized or led over 25 trips to Asia, often including the children.
After Steve completed a PhD and MBA, they relocated to Fort Worth where Steve is employed by Alcon managing later phase clinical studies. With a nest empty, Nancy is employed as an Administrative Assistant at Lena Pope and both continue to be involved in various ministries, including Union Gospel Mission and student outreach.

The Brooks Family

Doug and Jana Brooks are both longtime residents of Fort Worth, by way of Texas Christian University. Doug grew up in Keller then attended TCU, earning his degree in Business Marketing. Jana was raised in Ennis, TX and also attended TCU earning her degree in Nutrition. She then became a Registered Dietitian and worked for the All Saints Hospital System for several years. They have three sons that keep them busy. Benjamin, a junior at Trinity Valley School, Grant, an 8th grader at TVS, and Nolan a first grader at Tanglewood Elementary. The family stays busy with various community and school activities and always finds time for TCU events.
Doug is the founder and owner of Brooks Custom Homes. A custom home building company that began in 2004 and currently has projects in Fort Worth and the surrounding area. Jana works with Doug and their clients in assisting with selections for the interior of the home and fine tuning the details of their projects. Both enjoy working with their clients on different aspects of the job and then coming together to produce the final product.

The Brewer Family

Lisa and Brandon Brewer are pictured here with their four sons, Brock (11), Brant (11), Bennett(10), and Brett(5). Brandon is Vice President for Republic Title in their Commercial Division. Brandon is the founder of the Real Estate Council’s Young Leader’s Council, member of Leadership Fort Worth, and active with numerous charities and professional organizations. Lisa is a community volunteer, serving on the boards of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Ridglea Hills Elementary PTA.
Both Lisa and Brandon earned their bachelor’s degrees from Texas Tech University, followed by their MBAs from the University of Texas at Arlington. Natives of West Texas, they have resided in Fort Worth for over 20 years.
The Brewer Boys are active in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Fort Worth Youth Lacrosse, Little League, and Fort Worth Youth Soccer, and their parents are exhausted.
When not shuttling kids to games, practices, and meetings, Brandon enjoys racing road bikes, hunting, and playing golf. In her (very rare) spare time, Lisa likes to garden, cook, and hand-craft custom jewelry.

The Bovin Family

Donnie and Elizabeth Boivin are longtime residents of Fort Worth. Donnie Grew up in North Richland Hills and signed up for the United States Marines where he earned an Honorable discharge in 1999. Elizabeth was raised in the Keller attending Fossil Ridge High School and Works in Southlake at Southlake Crossing Animal Clinic. They have three dogs and 2 cats that are often referred to as their fur babies. They stay extremely busy in the community with organizations Like Connecting for Conquerors that supports Cancer Care Services. They are also involved in the Cowtown Warriors ball which supports local disabled veterans.

The Olson Family

Gary and Cindy Olson are pictured with their daughter Shannon, her husband Scott, and their daughters Skylar and Sarah.
Cindy is an interior design professional with a degree from TCU, where her father was the assistant to the chancellor for many years. Cindy heads up her own design firm, Olson Interiors.
Gary attended Texas Tech University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After college, Gary served in the U.S. Army as a combat infantry officer, and served a one year tour in Vietnam. In 1984 Gary started Silver West Limousine Service. Gary is a past President of the DFW Limousine Association and currently serves as Vice President.
Shannon and Scott and their daughters, Skylar and Sarah live in Keller. Shannon and Scott are both graduates of the University of Oklahoma, where they met. Shannon was a member of the Women’s’ Gymnastics Team at OU. Scott is a pilot for Southwest Airlines and is a member of their safety board.
The family enjoys traveling, golf, Sarah’s choir and music recitals, Skylar’s soccer games, family outings, sporting events and all the amenities of Fort Worth.

Robert Gottlich and Christine are both native Texans, born and raised in Fort Worth. Robert just opened the newest branch of Happy State Bank in Fort Worth as Market President. He is a member of the Fort Worth Air Power Council/Foundation the nation’s oldest military support organization and supporter of the Fort Worth Christian Prayer Breakfast. Christine is a graduate of Texas Christian University. She teaches secondary Social Studies and English Language Arts to deaf and hard of hearing students in Birdville ISD. The Cook Family

David Cook was born and raised in Mansfield, Texas. To David, Mansfield means family and holds many memories so it was only fitting for him to run for Mayor in 2008. He was elected and continues to serve as Mayor of Mansfield to this day.
David attended Stephen F. Austin State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration in 1992. After graduation, he returned to Mansfield to attend Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. David received his Juris Doctor in 1996. During his studies, he became a Law Clerk and Legislative Aide for Senator Chris Harris. Following his graduation from law school, he became an associate attorney for Senator Chris Harris. In 2004, David and Chris partnered to form Harris Cook, LLP. David is now the Managing Partner and has expanded the practice to three locations.
Tonya Cook is a school counselor for Mansfield Independent School District. She completed her undergraduate at the University of North Texas with a major in Sociology and a minor in Behavioral Psychology. She continued her studies at Dallas Baptist University, where she earned her Masters of Education School Counseling. When Tonya is not guiding her students, she is active in her community. She and David founded Andersen, Cook & Harris Christmas Project. In addition to running the Christmas Project, she is also involved in Mansfield Cares, Salvation Army and various other organizations and committees.
Tonya and David attend Walnut Ridge Baptist Church where they both serve in the Preschool Ministry. They have four children: Stefan, Blake, Cecilee and Christian. Stefan and Blake have graduated college and recently married; Cecilee is in her third year at Texas A&M University and Christian is in his first year at the University of Oklahoma. David and Tonya have two Australian Shepherds, Sophie and Phoebe.
